Carencro Flag-Raising Ceremony Kicks Off Mardi Gras 2018

Carnival season opened in Carencro with the official Mardi Gras flag-raising ceremony, Jan. 6, at City Hall. Royalty from local krewes were on hand for the festivities.

Mardi Gras Krewe of KarencroThe Carencro Mardi Gras Association parade begins at 11a.m., Saturday, February 3. Streets will be closed at 10 a.m. The parade route begins at Carencro High School, travels north on University through the city, ending at the North Regional Library. Registered parade floats may line up at the beginning of the parade route at 6 a.m.
