Having assumed the office of Mayor in January 2003 after serving as a Councilman for 25 years, I am excited about the future and the potential for providing quality services to our citizens.

The City of Carencro operates water, sewer and natural gas services, and contracts with BFI for waste disposal. Knowing where underground utility lines are buried before each digging project begins helps prevent injury, expense and penalties. Simple digging jobs can damage utility lines and can disrupt vital services to an entire neighborhood, harm those who dig, and result in expensive fines and repair costs. Whether you are a professional excavator in the construction industry or a do-it-yourself homeowner, one easy phone call to 811 quickly begins the process of getting underground utility lines marked for free. Remember to call before you dig.
