The Growth Management Plan ordinance is intended to govern the use of land according to regulations based on performance in a manner that provides for compatibility, minimizing land use conflicts, sustaining property values, promoting economic development and enhancing community appearance.
The first public briefing on the Growth Management Plan was held in October 2008. Another public briefing is anticipated in January 2009; the date, time and location will be posted when available.
